Pleasantly surprised
Let's start with saying that many of the on-line reviews do not do just to this hotel. Visiting Bahrain for 3 weeks which co-inceded with the F1-weekend I was forced to find another hotel then my usual place to stay: the Gulf Hotel. OK Stay
I have stayed at Golden Tulip many times and my last visit was slightly disappointing to the rest. Ground floor rooms not to the same standards as previous rooms I have stay in. Also requested a double bed and received a room with 2 x singles. Otherwise a good stay at reasonable costs.

Very good service and friendly staff
We enjoyed very good service from all staff. All requests were dealt with quickly and adequately. When asked we received the assistance we needed. Improving Rooms
I used to stay at your hotel since years , I did not see any improvments to the Furniture. Beds and TV's are sooooo old . Closets also needs some maintenance or even rehabilitation.
