During all the years that we travel we have always aken the time to complete the guest reviews because we feel that feedback is essential to allow you to see from a guest point of vfiew their experience. In the past we have commented on your front dest check-in staff. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING!!!!! Why is it have we are never greeted warmly, 'welcome back' or 'lovely to seen you again' It should be tagged on our booking that we are returning guests Also check out 'thank you and look forward to the next time' Easy or not!!!! Never'good morning' etc On a positive note the young Indian waitress at breakfast remembered us warmly. Well done [unfortunately don't know her name] The filipino head waitress leaves much to be desired!!

The staff were very courteous but not particularly attentive. It was noticed at breakfast time that a continual reminder for tea or coffee had to be implemented each day. Requests for additional bathrobe was ignored and the report of a dripping tap in the bathroom of an executive room was also ignored. The floors of the bathroom was also quite dirty as noticed when a towel was used to wipe excess water from the floor. The overall experience however was still very good and I would still return to the same hotel which I am sure will only improve.

We always choose to stay at The golden Tulip Bahrain. beacause of locality, great Buffet breakfast [service still requires improvement, especially the female supervisor, never smiles or greets] Rooms cosy and clean and beds and pillows very comfortable Nice guesture to find a 'Welcome Back' chocolate on our bed and friut on arrival Thank you! My stay at the Golden Tulip was a good one. Two things that I have comments on: 1. The check in lady had a hard time explaining that she was going to charge my card BHD 65 instead of BHD 42 (room rate) because there needed to be a deposit and the difference between the two would be refunded to me at the end of my stay unless there were additional charges against the room. 2. The internet is overly expensive. I am seriously considering my options at staying at another hotel due to the price of the internet in my hotel room. 3. The doorman was overly insistent on taking my bag to my room for me. I do not like my bag being away from me. If I say No Thank You I can take my own bag I would expect for him to let me do so.
